About Khateeb: Shaikh Umar Farooq is a teacher, trainer, counselor, Imam, Hafiz, and Khateeb with a strong background in both Islamic scholarship and formal academics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and completed his Islamic studies in Pakistan at Jamia Ishat Ul Islam, Arifwala, graduating in 2008.

Since then, he has served the Muslim community as an Imam and part-time Imam in a select number of masajid in Pakistan and the United States, leading prayers, delivering khutbahs, teaching, and providing religious guidance and counseling.

He is also the founder of Urwah.org, an online academy focused on accessible Islamic education. His classes and lectures are available online, including on YouTube under the channel name Urwahorg.

Umar Farooq is married and, alongside his religious and educational work, is engaged in multiple business ventures.
